Amendment 3 on legalization of recreational marijuana fails in Florida
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Amendment 3, which would’ve legalized the use of recreational marijuana in Florida, has failed.

If passed, Amendment 3 would’ve allowed adults 21 years old and older to possess about 3 ounces of marijuana, and it would’ve allowed businesses already growing and selling marijuana to sell the drug.
Amendment 3 needed to be approved by more than 60% of voters to take effect.
