Which Florida lawmakers (so far) passed the most bills in 2023?
Florida’s legislators stayed busy this past session, with 320 pieces of legislation passing both legislative chambers. As of the Tuesday afternoon Governor's Action Report, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed 234 of them and vetoed two, with 59 still sitting on his desk and another 53 waiting to be sent.
So far, the average number of bills passed per senator was about 7.5, and 2.5 per representative. But some legislators carried a much bigger legislative load than others. Several lawmakers carried 10 or more bills successfully, while others failed to get a single bill passed.
