FLORIDA — For the second day in a row, the Sunshine State's average for gas prices has broken records, according to AAA on Friday morning.
Both the state and national gas prices have climbed high enough to break records.
The Sunshine State's average gas price broke its previous record from the day before. On Friday, AAA reported that the average price for gas in Florida jumped to $4.46 per gallon.
Thursday morning, the price shot up to about $4.40 per gallon, which broke the previous record that was held in March of this year.
The average price for gas has been climbing all week in Florida. On Monday, it was at $4.21 per gallon. Tuesday, it was $4.28 and on Wednesday, it hit $4.32.
