More than 26K acres of uncontained wildfires burning in Palm Beach, Broward counties
The Florida Forest Service is showing multiple active wildfires in Palm Beach and Broward counties Saturday.
The wildfires total more than 26,000 acres.

The Florida Forest Service said the cause of all three fires is lightning. WPBF 25 News chief weather expert Mike Lyons said this is the peak fire season and there were intense thunderstorms with lighting in the area Wednesday.
No structures have been damaged or are threatened at this time.
